Lee Industrial Contracting has named Kevin Wildfong as senior director of operations for Lee Contracting’s Grand Rapids, Michigan, location.
Wildfong will be responsible for overseeing the operational strategy, efficiency and innovation of Lee Contracting’s electrical and mechanical trades to drive growth and profitability.
Wildfong brings over 25 years of experience in the industrial contracting industry, with a focus on strategic planning, process improvements and financial management. His portfolio demonstrates outstanding management skills, a commitment to advancing and streamlining processes and procedures, and a strong record of innovation.
As Senior Director of Operations, Wildfong will lead and evaluate the electrical and mechanical field teams, oversee departmental training programs, provide technical assistance, review estimates and work closely with HR and department managers to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
Before joining Lee Industrial Contracting, Wildfong led a team tasked with establishing local partnerships to complete the electrical scope on a $120M+ battery project in West Michigan. Immediately prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President at Feyen Zylstra, LLC, a $120 million electrical services and technology firm. Wildfong was instrumental in aligning organizational objectives with the company mission, and managed full P&L for sales and operations, solidifying the company’s market position. He also has a distinguished track record of leading business-wide changes to modernize procedures and organizations.
His early career includes roles as Construction Manager at Circuit Electric and a Project Engineer/Estimator at Toering Electric, where he honed his skills in process efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
Wildfong is a licensed electrician in the State of Michigan and holds a certificate in the Executive Leadership Program from Stanford University.
