Pontiac, Michigan-based Lee Industrial Contracting appointed Robert Briggs as chief financial officer.

Briggs will oversee all financial functions at the Pontiac, Michigan-based industrial contracting firm, reporting to Frederick Cauley, CEO of Lee Industrial Contracting.

Briggs joins Lee Industrial Contracting from Toledo, Ohio-based Grammer Group, a global supplier of seating and other interior systems, where he served as CFO – Americas. Prior to Grammer, he was vice president of finance, International Automotive Components, overseeing financial functions for a business with 20 manufacturing facilities. He has also served in financial management roles at Lear Corp. as well as in the food services and sporting goods industries.

Briggs earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Michigan – Dearborn.
