The Importance of Giving Back

Lee Contracting and its employees are committed to continuously finding new ways to get involved and support communities. Part of Lee Contracting’s vision is “Providing the utmost support to communities.” Lee Contracting takes pride in making the world a better place and each year we work with several different charities which support our local communities.

We host Red Cross blood drives on-site, a yearly turkey distribution for the veterans and families in need and a golf outing to support a local charity.

This year, Lee Contracting has teamed up with Relay for Life to join in the fight against cancer. Relay for Life is the ultimate team fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. It provides an opportunity to bring communities together to fight cancer, to remember lost loved ones, honor survivors of all cancers and to have our employees team up for a worthy cause. During the 24-hour relay, Lee Contracting’s employees will be volunteering, walking and fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Any donations made online prior to the event by Lee employees will be matched by Lee Contracting.

Most companies have something more to give the world other than their products or services. They could use their influence to help a community succeed. This can include advocating for worthy causes, volunteering their employee’s skills or sharing their financial resources.
